YOU HAVE A SOFT SPOT FOR PRETTY AND POLISHED STATIONERY TOO?!

WE WERE MADE FOR EACH OTHER.

Hey stationery lover...

I’m a stationery designer at heart, but my true love is attention to detail.

I’ve always wanted to be a product packaging designer. And yes, this means I may or may not hoard pretty boxes even though I don’t need them. They’re too pretty to throw away!

Details are everywhere, and they so easily get overlooked. When you’re planning an event or giving a gift, presentation is far more valuable than anything tangible.

I started my career as a stationery designer because I needed a creative outlet from my 9-5 job. I studied graphic design in college, and I’ve always had a knack for thoughtful presentation.

I became a wedding invitation designer after I started designing invitations for my friends and realized how much I absolutely loved it. Weddings are so unique and every design is completely different. Being able to create a physical representation of your celebration is so special, and it’s a process I cherish in each and every design project.

I believe your wedding stationery should reflect your unique love story. It's all in the details! Your wedding invitations are a keepsake that lasts far beyond "last call". You'll eat your cake, you'll toss your bouquet, but you can keep your invitations forever.

You deserve stationery that reflects that journey, with details that compliment your style and represent your beautiful connection on paper.

I’d love nothing more as your wedding stationery designer than to help bring that vision to life.

To quote Taylor Swift, “It’s the most maddening, beautiful, magical, horrible, painful, wonderful, joyous thing in the world, love.”

A stationery designer is a lot like a wedding dress – you have to find the perfect fit for you.

As an event and wedding stationery designer, my process is very collaborative. Before you sign up to work with me, you should of course check out my work. But the person behind the work matters too.

Here are a few things that are really important to me as a stationery designer. If they resonate with you too, I’d love to chat.

The design process is a creative one. Sometimes you want to be involved and sometimes the thought of having to add one more thing to your plate is awful. My process is set up so that you have as much or as little involvement as you would like. Wanna give your two-cents often? Cool. Just want me to handle it and hand over your polished project with a pretty bow? You got it.

Ease

We’ve all got busy lives and even busier schedules. There’s not enough time in the day to tackle that ever-growing to-do list. And because of this, I prioritize all deadlines. I will do exactly what I say I’m going to do, when I say I’m going to do it.

Timelines

I set expectations upfront and make sure we’re all on the same page with the project end goal. And just as I’ll be honest with you, I need you to be honest with me. The design process is messy but so much fun, and I want you to be so happy with the end result, you could cry...or cheer – or both!

Honesty

It’s probably the Enneagram 3 in me, but I don’t take my job as a stationery designer lightly. I want the final product to be exactly what you envisioned, every time. Whatever I need to do to make your design dreams come true, I’ll make it happen.

Perfection

Emily was an absolute pleasure to work with!

I always knew when I got married, I wanted the stationary/paper goods to be special. I wanted our Save the Dates and invitations to be the beginning of the whole experience for our guests. She was flexible, responsive, and made excellent recommendations. She did custom designs for all our items and everything came out beautifully. I would recommend Faye Street Studios to anyone.

Get to know me:

Kids birthday parties? Faye Street. Baptism invitation? Faye Street. Emily does such an amazing job with all of her creations, and her attention to detail and desire for perfection are unparalleled. I'm the most uncreative person in the world, so I've now gotten to a place where I can tell her that I'm having a party, and she helps me design the most perfect invitation (and by "helps'' I mean she does all of it and I just thank her profusely.) Seriously, I cannot recommend or praise Faye Street Studios enough! Hiring Emily is a complete no-brainer.

"Thank God for Faye Street Studios, because I never have to think about an invitation or present ever again in my life!"

Working with Emily to create our wedding invitations was so much fun! I gave her the mile long list of ideas I had for design and she magically took my ramblings and turned them into 3 beautiful options for us to choose from! I was a nervous first time bride and she was so reassuring and easy to work with. Not to mention, she worked so quickly! I would highly recommend Faye Street Studios!

I reached out to Emily to design my Save the Dates because I wanted something unique & functional, a little something to make each person smile when they saw it. It was a no brainer that I had to use Emily to design wedding invitations and printed materials for our wedding. I gave full design control over to her because I had all the trust and faith that she would knock it out of the park. I recommend Emily and Faye Street Studios to anyone who is looking for custom design & printed materials. She is in a league of her own and you NEED her on your team.

I was blown away with her ability to take my vision and make it a reality that far exceeded my expectations.

We dreaded the thought of trying to work with an uptight paper company to design our invitations so we decided to go independent. Luckily, I came across Emily’s work. Even though we started this process while my now-husband and I were living miles away in Chicago, we knew right away we’d hit the jackpot! Her first round of samples nailed the “vibe” of our wedding (fancy dance party - as I like to say), but picky me still had several opinions - NO PROBLEM! Emily was so patient dealing with a nervous bride and groom, and her creativity got us to a point I never could have on my own through a site, or had the patience for with a formal paper company.

Emily was AMAZING to work with!
