You have a soft spot for pretty and polished stationery too?!

We were made for each other.

hey, stationery lover

You deserve stationery that reflects that journey, with details that compliment your style and represent your beautiful connection on paper.

I’d love nothing more as your wedding stationery designer than to help bring that vision to life.

To quote Taylor Swift, “It’s the most maddening, beautiful, magical, horrible, painful, wonderful, joyous thing in the world, love.”

I’ve always wanted to be a product packaging designer. And yes, this means I may or may not hoard pretty boxes even though I don’t need them. They’re too pretty to throw away!

Details are everywhere, and they so easily get overlooked. When you’re planning an event or giving a gift, presentation is far more valuable than anything tangible.

I started my career as a stationery designer because I needed a creative outlet from my 9-5 job. I studied graphic design in college, and I’ve always had a knack for thoughtful presentation.

I became a wedding invitation designer after I started designing invitations for my friends and realized how much I absolutely loved it. Weddings are so unique and every design is completely different. Being able to create a physical representation of your celebration is so special, and it’s a process I cherish in each and every design project.

I believe your wedding stationery should reflect your unique love story. It's all in the details! Your wedding invitations are a keepsake that lasts far beyond "last call". You'll eat your cake, you'll toss your bouquet, but you can keep your invitations forever.

I’m a stationery designer at heart, but my true love is attention to detail.

It’s probably the Enneagram 3 in me, but I don’t take my job as a stationery designer lightly. I want the final product to be exactly what you envisioned, every time. Whatever I need to do to make your design dreams come true, I’ll make it happen.

Perfection

I set expectations upfront and make sure we’re all on the same page with the project end goal. And just as I’ll be honest with you, I need you to be honest with me. The design process is messy but so much fun, and I want you to be so happy with the end result, you could cry...or cheer – or both!

As an event and wedding stationery designer, my process is very collaborative. Before you sign up to work with me, you should of course check out my work. But the person behind the work matters too.

Here are a few things that are really important to me as a stationery designer. If they resonate with you too, I’d love to chat.

Honesty

We’ve all got busy lives and even busier schedules. There’s not enough time in the day to tackle that ever-growing to-do list. And because of this, I prioritize all deadlines. I will do exactly what I say I’m going to do, when I say I’m going to do it.

Timelines

The design process is a creative one. Sometimes you want to be involved and sometimes the thought of having to add one more thing to your plate is awful. My process is set up so that you have as much or as little involvement as you would like. Wanna give your two-cents often? Cool. Just want me to handle it and hand over your polished project with a pretty bow? You got it.

A stationery designer is a lot like a wedding dress – you have to find the perfect fit for you.

We dreaded the thought of trying to work with an uptight paper company to design our invitations so we decided to go independent. Luckily, I came across Emily’s work. Even though we started this process while my now-husband and I were living miles away in Chicago, we knew right away we’d hit the jackpot! Her first round of samples nailed the “vibe” of our wedding (fancy dance party - as I like to say), but picky me still had several opinions - NO PROBLEM! Emily was so patient dealing with a nervous bride and groom, and her creativity got us to a point I never could have on my own through a site, or had the patience for with a formal paper company.

Emily was AMAZING to work with!

The invitation suite that Emily designed & printed for our wedding make me SO excited. I keep envisioning my guests reactions when they see the level of detail Emily put into every element: the monogrammed wax seal, the textured paper, the rich colors, & even the custom sketch of my 3 dogs profiles. I can’t express how attentive she has been to all of my thoughts & questions. She is always eager to help & she's made the entire stationary aspect of my wedding something I’m extremely proud of. Opening my box of custom stationary was a memorable experience in & of itself, with fun candy & intricate wrapping. Emily is worth every dime & I would make this decision 100 times over.
